BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo swerves Pep Guardiola’s Man City to join Man United as Red Devils confirm deal with Juventus

Manchester United have confirmed reaching agreement with Juventus for the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, 36, joins the Red Devils after the leaving the club in 2009 to join Real Madrid.

Before the latest announcement Ronaldo was strongly linked with a move to United’s biggest rivals Manchester City.

In a statement released by United the club confirmed the transfer: “Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical. Cristiano, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has so far won over 30 major trophies during his career, including five UEFA Champions League titles, four FIFA Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain and Italy, and the European Championship for his native Portugal.”

Ronaldo spent three seasons at Juventus where he won several personal awards and titles with the Old Ladies.
