Midfielder Elvis Opoku has started training with Aduana Stars with the view of making a return to the Fire Club, according to Kumasi-based Pure FM.
Opoku is not part of the Royals pre-season campaign which is currently taking place in the Eastern regional capital of Koforidua.
Pure FM have reported on Wednesday afternoon that the midfielder has rejoined Aduana Stars where he is training with them with the hope of securing a move back to the club.
According to a broadcast journalist, Darlyn Paul, Cities head coach Maxwell Konadu has declared the midfielder as a surplus to requirement.
He joined Legon Cities from Aduana Stars in October 2020.
