Former Asante Kotoko administrative manager Edmund Ackah has commended Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah for his performance at the club.
Nana Yaw Amponsah, 2019 Ghana FA Presidential candidate, was appointed CEO of Kotoko in August 2020.
The former Phar Rangers President has enjoyed a tremendous success under one year after putting an historic edifice at the club’s Adako Jachie grounds.
On the field, the club finished second in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League despite playing all 34 matches away due to renovation works at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as well as reaching the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup.
And, Ackah believes the young administrator has scored high marks.
“I will rate the performance of Nana Yaw Amponsah 80% because he has done very well under the current circumstances. He has been given the free hands to operate and I think he has done well,” he told Benedict Kwadwo Mensah on Asempa FM.
Ackah has served in multiple capacities in various Asante Kotoko managements under various leadership including the Sylvester Asare-Owusu.
