Ghanaian forward Paul Ayongo grabbed the headlines in the Portuguese second-tier league on Saturday after using 5 minutes to score a brace to help Academico Viseu to a crucial 2-1 win over Casa Pia.
Ayongo, 24, scored in the 70th minute to cancel out Joao Vieira’s opening goal for the visitors before scoring the match-winner five minutes later.
The former Paços Ferreira player was also on target for Viseu a fortnight ago when he hit the back of the net for the consolation goal in their 4-1 loss to same side in a cup game.
He has now scored back-to-back against the side.
The center-forward is on his second season with Viseu after netting 7 league goals in 29 appearances for the Viseu-based club.
