Hearts of Oak board chairman Togbe Afede XIV has dashed each member of the Phobians playing body $5,000, according to Kumasi-based Pure FM.
According to renowned broadcast journalist Bright Kankam Boadu on Pure FM the entire playing body, technical team and management members of the club headed to the residence of the club’s bankroller where each player was rewarded according to their performance in the season.
The seasoned broadcaster further explained that the rewards started at $5,000 and dropped to a minimum of $3,000 depending on each player’s involvement and performance in the season in which the Phobians swept all trophies available on the Ghanaian domestic scene.
Hearts won the Ghana Premier League for the first time in eleven years before annexing the FA Cup title after beating AshantiGold in the final.
