Ghanaian golden boy Mizak Asante has confidently pleaded to be given 1 minute to prove his mettle with the Black Stars.
The 15-year-old attacker climbed off the bench to score a sensational finish at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Asante took on four defenders inside the box and intelligently rounded up the goalkeeper before scoring a goal that has dominated the national headlines.
After scoring his headline-grabbing goal the teenager has told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show that all he needs is just a minute with the Black Stars to prove his quality.
“All I need is just 1 minute to prove what I can do for the team. I’m ready for every challenge that will come my way. If I’m given the opportunity at the Black Stars I’m ready for the challenge,” he told Enoch Worlanyo.
Golden Kicks secured victory after penalty shootouts to book their ticket to Division One League Zone III.
Asante scored 5 goals in 6 games for Golden Kicks during their qualification rounds.
