Asante Kotoko head coach Mariano Barreto has left the shore of Ghana and headed to his native Portugal.
The 64-year-old left Ghana via the Kotoka International Airport together with injury prevention coach Pedro Venâncio.
Barreto has already set the conditions for his return to Ghana to continue his job as Asante Kotoko head coach.
The former Ghana Olympic Team coach arrived in Ghana in March to take charge of the Porcupine Warriors. He was tasked to win the Ghana Premier League title for the club but finished second and was eliminated from the MTN FA Cup in the quarter-finals.
He is not expected back in Ghana.
