Transfer: Kotoko preparing cash plus player deal for top Medeama defender [Pure FM]

[ad_1]

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are weighing up the option of offering a cash plus player offer for Medeama SC defender Samuel Appiah, 27.

According to latest reports by Kumasi-based Pure FM, the Porcupine Warriors are ready to offer defender Samuel Frimpong plus a decent amount to try and convince Medeama to sell their price asset to them.

Kotoko made a similar attempt to sign Appiah and midfielder Richard Boadu last September when Maxwell Konadu was in charge of technical affairs for the Porcupine Warriors.

However Medeama, who have recently signed ambitious young trainer Ignatius Osei Fosu, are expected to turn down the offer.

Appiah is a former player of Phar Rangers and has an outstanding relationship with Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.

Ghana Sports Online reported a fortnight ago that the Porcupine Warriors are also interested in signing want-away midfielder Richard Boadu.
