Hearts of Oak attacker Michelle Sarpong is heading out of the Ghanaian double-winning side on loan with WAFA being the likely destination.
The 22-year-old scored 3 goals in 15 appearances for the former African champions who make a return to CAF interclub competition after winning the Ghana Premier League title.
Sarpong was promoted to the Hearts first team from the club’s feeder club Auroras in 2019 by Kim Grant.
But, the mercurial attacker has struggled for game time under Samuel Boadu with the presence of Patrick Razak, Umar Manaf, Daniel Afriyie and Ibrahim Salifu on the wings.
According to reports from the camp of the Phobians Sarpong is likely to head to WAFA on loan with the Phobians already agreeing a deal with the Sogakope-based club.
