Ghanaian champions Hasaacas Ladies secured a vital win over Niger’s AS Police in the WAFU Zone B Women’s Club Championship in Abidjan on Friday evening.
The Sekondi-based side bounced back from last week’s loss to Nigeria’s Rivers Angels FC to secure the vital win to keep them in the competition.
Ghana international Doris Boaduwaa scored the opening goal for Yussif Basigi’s side before her compatriot Milot Pokuaa added the second just before the end of the first-half.
Milot added a second after the break to complete her brace for the evening as the Ghanaian side progressed to the next stage of the competition.
The Dooo Ladies will be aiming to progress to the finals and secure one of two available tickets for the main Championship in Egypt.
